Snow Day

Dr. Julio Andrade and wife Dr. Maria Felix MD speak with Delta representative Irvin Combs after their flight to Atlanta to Quito, Ecuador, was cancelled due to snow complications at the Louisville International Airport in Louisville, Ky. The couple, who are from Quito, Ecuador, along with their daughter Bernada Felix, flew to Louisville to visit Maria as she was participating in a two week Clinical Observation at the Kosair Children's Hospital. The family was re issued new tickets with two separate flights to depart the next day. Julio and his daughter Bernada  will fly on one flight to Atlanta while  Dr. Maria Felix MD will fly on a separate plane. Once in Atlanta the couple will take the same plane to Quito which is expected to be a 3 to 4 hour flight. "We are ready and hope to get home as soon as possible," Maria said. Despite being frustrated with the cancellation Maria understand the circumstances that come with weather and traveling. "It's not an easy moment when things are not coming like you expect. But when you travel you know that you have to manage with these problems, so we are expecting to do our best and hope this is going to do better so we can fly tomorrow," said Maria.
