| Residents of Lakeview Apartments, Joey Hopper and his girlfriend Kora Thompson, look towards a taped off crime scene. Around 4:20 Wednesday afternoon Gary Stewart, 40, shot and killed Jillian Wood, 38, and Shelby Stewart, 8, and then turned the gun on himself. Stewart's mother tried to intervene during the altercation but was also shot by Stewart. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
